The Great Apple Crumble Misadventure

Once upon a time, there was a bear named Benny who loved to bake. He had heard all about the deliciousness of apple crumble and decided that he just had to try making it himself.

Benny gathered all the ingredients, including a big basket of apples, and got to work in his kitchen. As he was mixing up the filling, he accidentally knocked over the sugar container, and sugar went everywhere! Undeterred, Benny just shrugged and continued on with the recipe.

As he was putting the crumble in the oven to bake, Benny remembered that he had promised to help his friend, a rabbit named Roger, gather nuts for the winter. Benny ran out of the kitchen to help Roger, completely forgetting about the apple crumble in the oven!

When Benny returned to his kitchen an hour later, he was greeted by a cloud of smoke and the smell of burnt sugar. The apple crumble was charred beyond recognition! Benny couldn't help but laugh at himself, and he and Roger sat down to enjoy the "crumble" with a big scoop of ice cream. From that day forward, Benny and Roger always made the burnt apple crumble together, and it became a beloved tradition between them.
