The Smart Chef

First, a funny story about chickpea curry and a cat

Once upon a time, there was a cat named Mittens who loved to explore the kitchen. One day, Mittens stumbled upon a pot of chickpea curry that was simmering on the stove. The delicious aroma wafted up to Mittens' nose and she couldn't resist giving it a taste.

Mittens licked the curry, savoring its rich and spicy flavor. But little did she know, the spices in the curry were much too strong for a cat's palate. Mittens' tongue began to tingle and her eyes started to water.

Panicked, Mittens ran around the kitchen, meowing loudly and searching for a solution. Just then, the cat's owner walked into the kitchen and saw Mittens' distress.

"Oh no, Mittens, what have you gotten into this time?" the owner asked.

Mittens pointed to the pot of chickpea curry and meowed as if to say, "Help! It's spicy!"

The owner couldn't help but laugh at the silly situation. They quickly gave Mittens a bowl of milk to soothe her tongue and put the chickpea curry out of reach.

From that day on, Mittens learned to stick to her kibble and leave the cooking to the humans.

The end.
