An Easter Egg Cookie Dough Story

Once upon a time, in a magical land of chocolate and candy, there lived a little egg named Eggy. Eggy was a happy little egg, but he always felt like something was missing.

One day, Eggy decided to go on an adventure to find out what was missing in his life. He hopped and hopped until he came across a delicious looking cookie dough truffle. It was so sweet and inviting, he just had to try it!

Easter Egg Cookie Dough Truffles

These cookie dough truffles are a delicious treat for Easter!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Gradually stir in flour, alternating with milk, until a dough forms.
  4. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop, form balls of dough and press into the bottom of the plastic Easter eggs, filling them about halfway.
  6. Freeze the eggs for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  7. Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package instructions.
  8. Dip each egg into the melted candy melts, coating them completely.
  9. Place the eggs onto a sheet of wax paper and let them cool and harden.
  10. Once the candy melts have hardened, carefully remove the cookie dough truffles from the plastic eggs.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
