The Breakfast Band

One morning, a group of breakfast foods decided to start a band.

The pancake was on the drums, the waffle was on guitar, and the bacon was on bass.

But they needed a lead singer, so they held auditions and finally settled on the egg.

At first, the egg was nervous about performing in front of a crowd, but with the encouragement of the other breakfast foods, he found his voice and belted out the lyrics to their hit song, "Sunny-Side Up."

The crowd went wild, cheering and applauding as the breakfast band played on.

And as they finished their final song, the pancake, the waffle, the bacon, and the egg all took a bow, feeling proud of their musical accomplishment.

Egg and Bacon Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Divide the bacon and cheese evenly among the muffin cups, then pour the egg mixture over top.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set.
  6. Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before removing them from the muffin tin.
  7. Garnish with chopped chives, if desired.
