A Peeps Rice Krispie Treat Story

Once upon a time, in a magical land of bunnies and eggs, there lived a little Peep named Peter. Peter was a happy Peep, but he was always looking for adventure.

One day, Peter decided to go on a journey to find the perfect place to live. He hopped and hopped until he came across a delicious looking Rice Krispie Treat. It was so colorful and inviting, he just had to try it!

Peter hopped on top of the Rice Krispie Treat and started to explore. It was so gooey and sweet, he felt like he was bouncing on a cloud. As he hopped around, he noticed something strange. The Rice Krispie Treat was getting smaller and smaller with every hop he took.

Peter realized that he was eating the treat! He was so hungry and the treat was just too delicious to resist. He hopped faster and faster, trying to eat as much as he could before it disappeared.

Finally, Peter ate his way to the center of the Rice Krispie Treat and found a surprise waiting for him. There was a little chocolate egg hiding inside! Peter was so happy and felt like he had found the perfect place to live after all.

And so, Peter hopped back home with a full tummy and a happy heart, ready for his next adventure.

Ingredients

• 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
• 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
• 3 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 package of Peeps

Instructions

1. In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.
2. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and combined with butter.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
4. Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until coated with marshmallow mixture.
5. Spread mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
6. Place Peeps on top of the Rice Krispie mixture, pressing them down slightly.
7. Let cool and set for about 30 minutes.
8. Cut into squares and serve.
