Super Mario's Mushroom Stew

One day, Mario was out in the Mushroom Kingdom looking for some ingredients for his next meal. He stumbled upon a patch of mushrooms that looked so tasty, he couldn't resist picking them. As he was walking back to his kitchen, he suddenly heard a loud growling sound. He turned around to see that he had accidentally taken all the mushrooms from a nearby family of Goombas! Feeling guilty, Mario decided to make a big pot of mushroom stew and share it with the Goombas as an apology. The Goombas were so touched by Mario's kind gesture that they forgave him and even invited him to their next family gathering.

Super Mario's Mushroom Stew

Ingredients:

• 2 cups sliced mushrooms
• 1 onion, chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 cups vegetable broth
• 1 can diced tomatoes
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a large pot, sauté mushrooms, onions, and garlic in olive oil until tender.
2. Add vegetable broth, diced tomatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper to the pot.
3. Simmer the stew on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve hot.
