The X-traordinary Apple Tree

Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was an X-traordinary apple tree. This apple tree was unlike any other apple tree in the world, because it grew apples in the shape of the letter X!

The villagers in the nearby town were amazed by the X-traordinary apple tree, and they would often come to visit it and take pictures. One day, a group of kids decided to climb the tree and pick some of the X-shaped apples. They had never tasted anything like them before, and they were absolutely delicious!

They decided to slice the apples thinly, sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar, and bake them in the oven. The result was X-traordinary Apple Chips!

The kids shared their X-traordinary Apple Chips with everyone in town, and soon the whole world knew about the X-traordinary apple tree. People came from far and wide to taste the X-shaped apples and to try the X-traordinary Apple Chips. And that's how the X-traordinary apple tree became famous!

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Wash and dry the apples.
  3. Using a sharp knife or a mandoline, slice the apples thinly and evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar.
  5. Place the apple slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apple slices.
  7. Bake the apple chips in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
